We're seeking a compassionate, organized, and professional Registered Nurse to join our home care team on a PRN basis. In this role, you'll oversee client care, complete nursing assessments, supervise aides, and help ensure high-quality care for VA and Medicaid clients in a home setting.
Responsibilities:
- Complete nursing assessments, reassessments, observations, and care planning documentation
- Reassess VA clients every 60 days and/or as needed
- Develop and update individualized care plans based on client needs
- Coordinate with management on quality care and operational procedures
- Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and caregivers
- Respond professionally and promptly to client complaints regarding caregivers
- Protect patient rights and promote home safety procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and professional nursing standards
Qualifications:
- Current RN license (required)
- BSN preferred
- Home care experience (required)
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (required)
- CEUs maintained per Board of Nursing requirements
