Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab
Compunnel Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Cath Lab opportunity in Salem, MA. This position offers a 4-day workweek with 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM), totaling 40 hours per week, with 7 on-call nights per month. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of nursing experience, prior Cath Lab/EP Lab experience, and expertise in interventional cardiac procedures and scrubbing. An active Massachusetts RN license and AHA ACLS certification are required.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
Assist cardiologists during interventional cardiac procedures, including PCI, angioplasty, and stent placement.
Support procedures involving Impella, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), device implantation, and cardiac ablations.
Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status before, during, and after procedures.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC Cupid.
Collaborate with cardiologists and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, effective patient care.
Provide post-procedure monitoring and assess for complications, including bleeding and vascular access-site issues.

Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience.
Previous Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) and/or Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience required.
Experience with interventional cardiac procedures and scrub duties.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Experience with EPIC Cupid electronic medical records preferred or required, depending on facility policy.
