    Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU and ER

    Location: Colton, CA

    Job Type: Per Diem

    About Us: We are a leading healthcare staffing agency dedicated to connecting qualified healthcare professionals with exceptional opportunities. Our client, a respected healthcare facility in California, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with critical care experience to join their team.

    Position Summary: As a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, developing care plans, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care in accordance with established standards and protocols.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct initial nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.

    • Document patient care from admission through discharge, following the Nursing Process.

    • Administer and document medications, demonstrating knowledge of dosages, drug interactions, and incompatibilities.

    • Practice safety measures in all patient care activities.

    • Provide excellent customer service and advocate for patient needs.

    • Teach, delegate, and direct both professional and non-professional nursing staff.

    • Stay updated on new developments and therapeutic measures in patient care.

    • Participate in the development of nursing policies and procedures, as well as Quality Assurance activities.

    • Respond to emergency situations, including Code Blue and Code Red activations.

    • Protect patients' rights to privacy and confidentiality.

    • Perform any related duties as assigned or requested.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of two years of current ICU or ER experience.

    • Ability to float to telemetry and stepdown units, as required.

    • May be required to care for COVID+ patients.

    • Travel nursing experience is strongly encouraged.

    • Proficiency in reading Telemetry Strips.

    • Successful completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia exam (Required).

    • ACLS (American Heart Association) certification.

    • BLS (American Heart Association) certification.

    • MOAB certification.

    • NIH certification.

    • Active California state nursing license.

    COVID Vaccination Policy:

    • COVID Vaccination and booster shots are encouraged.

    • Declinations are accepted but require COVID testing twice a week at the traveler/agency's cost.
