Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - ED

Location: Neptune, NJ

Duration: 13 weeks contract

Shift Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12 hours every other weekend required

Summary:

Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized and innovative services in the Emergency Department.
• Handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages.
• Deal with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.
• Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions.
• Prioritize injuries and medical needs accordingly.

Required Skills:

• Must have a minimum of 18 months of nursing experience working in an ED environment.
• Must have ED experience within the past six months.
• Demonstrated level of performance and practice is required.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Certifications & Licenses:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS-AHA.
• ACLS.
• Telemetry.
• PALS.
• NIHSS.
• CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours.
