What Youll Do
- Deliver safe, high-quality care to patients of all ages in the Emergency Department using the full nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients and families.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare partners to coordinate care.
- Provide patient and family education during moments that matter most.
- Supervise and delegate responsibilities to support staff while mentoring colleagues.
- Stay current with continuing education and emergency care competencies.
- Participate in department and hospital initiatives aimed at advancing patient care.
- Uphold patient rights to privacy, respect, and dignity in every interaction.
What You Bring
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Massachusetts RN license.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- PALS or ENPC within 6 months of hire.
- CEN strongly encouraged.
- Previous ED experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Comfort with computers and commitment to confidentiality.
- A collaborative spirit and excellent customer service skills.
