Position Overview

Swedish Hospital is seeking experienced Float Pool RNs to support its Med/Surg units!

Provide high-quality, individualized nursing care while floating across multiple Med/Surg units based on staffing needs. This is a great opportunity for nurses who enjoy variety and working with different patient populations.

Requirements

Active Illinois RN license.

American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.

Associate's Degree in Nursing required.

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital floor experience.

New graduates are not eligible.

2+ years of Med/Surg experience preferred.

Schedule & Requirements

Schedule follows a 6-week rotation.

Schedule is published 2 weeks before the current schedule ends.

Every other weekend required (Friday/Saturday nights).

Rotating holidays.

No on-call requirement.

ACLS, PALS, and NRP may be required within 6 months, depending on unit assignment.
