Elmcor Youth & Adult Activities, Inc., we're looking for a dedicated and compassionate
Registered Nurse to join our Residential Services team and help guide participants through their wellness journey.
What You'll DoAs the RN, you'll play a key role in supporting the physical and emotional health of residents in recovery by:
- Overseeing daily medical needs of participants
- Administering and monitoring medications, including self-medication protocols
- Developing personalized care plans and training programs
- Supporting individuals through counseling, harm reduction, and education
- Conducting risk assessments and referrals to necessary health services
- Supervising LPNs and collaborating with the Residential Coordinator
- Providing consistent, caring, and trauma-informed support
What We're Looking For- NYS Licensed RN (Associate's or Bachelor's degree)
- At least 1-2 years of experience in chemical dependency or substance use services
- Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Comfortable supervising staff and managing care plans
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
- Must pass OCFS clearance
