Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) who can function independently in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to manage a full patient load, and the capability to step into a Charge Nurse role when needed. The unit serves a wide patient population across the lifespan, requiring broad clinical competency.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to MS/Tele patients
• Manage patient assignments with a ratio of 1:6
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
• Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed
• Document all care accurately in the EMR

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing
• Previous Charge Nurse experience required
• Ability to work independently and manage a full patient load
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
