We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical and Telemetry care to work in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, possess strong telemetry and leadership skills, and be capable of managing a diverse patient population across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments
Coordinate and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary teams
Function as a Charge Nurse when required
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive patient care environment
Required Qualifications
Minimum experience in MS/Telemetry nursing
Charge Nurse experience required
Ability to independently manage a 1:6 patient ratio
Experience caring for patients across all age groups (pediatric to geriatric preferred)
Strong critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills
Required Certifications
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
