    Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

    Reports to: Director of Operations

    Location: Multi-location

    Job Type: Full-Time

    FLSA: Exempt
    Schedule: Monday–Friday (Some flexibility required)
    Range Salary: $105,000–$115,000 annually (based on experience)


    Job Overview- OPWDD Day Habilitation & Residential Programs


    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our DBIS Day Habilitation and Residential Programs. The RN will provide clinical oversight, coordinate healthcare services, train staff, and promote the health and well-being of the individuals we support.


    Responsibilities

    • Conduct nursing assessments and health screenings.
    • Develop and maintain individualized nursing care plans.
    • Coordinate medical appointments and follow-up care.
    • Review physician orders, laboratory results, and treatment plans.
    • Monitor medication administration and health documentation.
    • Train and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on health-related procedures.
    • Respond to medical concerns and emergencies.
    • Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency policies.
    • Collaborate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.

    Qualifications

    • Active New York State RN License.
    • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Experience with developmental disabilities, community health, or residential services preferred.
    • Valid driver's license preferred.
