Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift | Full-Time

Sumter Health & Rehabilitation | York, AL

Base Pay: $33.25–$43.65 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts

Night Shift Differential: +$3.00/hour

Weekend Shift Differential: +$3.00/hour for weekend shift hours

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Sumter Health & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our full-time night shift nursing team.

As an RN, you'll provide direct nursing care, supervise nursing staff, and help ensure our skilled nursing and rehabilitation residents receive quality, compassionate care throughout the night.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care throughout the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Assess residents and promptly respond to changes in condition.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection prevention, resident safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing – REQUIRED.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Dependable and committed to quality resident care.
• Availability to work scheduled weekends.
