Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN | Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing | Flagstaff, AZ
TEEMA is hiring PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) for a state-operated long-term care facility in Flagstaff, Arizona. This is a strong opportunity for local RNs who want flexible PRN work in a structured, team-based clinical environment serving an older adult resident population.
This role is open to experienced long-term care nurses, skilled nursing RNs and newer graduates who are comfortable working in a resident-centered care setting.
Pay: $63.50/hr
Location: Flagstaff, AZ
Schedule: PRN, as needed
Shift: 12-hour day or night shifts, 6:00–6:30
Hours: 40 hours/week is not guaranteed
Important Local Requirement
Candidates must be local to the Flagstaff area at the time of submission. Resumes must clearly show the candidate’s current location. Candidates must also be available for an in-person interview within one week of the posting close date and able to start within two weeks of an offer.
What You’ll Do
The RN will provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting, working closely with residents, families and the interdisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities include:
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and within RN scope of practice
Monitor resident condition, behavior, progress and changing medical or psychosocial needs
Complete nursing assessments for new admissions and ongoing resident care
Support MDS assessments, quarterly reviews and individualized care plans
Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation
Participate in shift reports and communicate updates clearly to the care team
Provide limited supervision and support to subordinate staff as needed
Assist with direct resident care and ADLs when needed, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene and mobility
Communicate professionally with residents, families and staff to support appropriate care
Participate in in-service training, staff development and process improvement activities
Follow federal, state and facility standards related to nursing practice, medication handling, documentation and resident care

Helpful experience includes:
Long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, rehab or geriatric nursing
Medication administration and treatment support
Resident assessments and care planning
Team nursing and interdisciplinary communication
MDS exposure is helpful but not required
Recent graduates and RNs with less than one year of skilled nursing or long-term care experience may be considered
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse license
Ability to work onsite in Flagstaff, AZ
Local to the area at time of submission
Available for PRN 12-hour day or night shifts as needed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to document accurately and follow clinical procedures
