- Pay Rate: $79.20 $83.20 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Day (4x10 Hours), 12:30 20:00

Job Summary
This is a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) contract position based at a hospital in Orange, CA. The role requires proficiency across multiple high-acuity surgical specialties and includes on-call rotation responsibilities covering both general and kidney call schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve in an on-call rotation: estimated 8 days during a 6-week schedule, with all call split evenly across RNFAs
- Participate in kidney call rotation Monday through Friday, 18:00 06:00
- Participate in kidney call rotation Saturday and Sunday, 24 hours (06:00 06:00)
- Participate in Saturday and Sunday general call rotation, 07:00 17:00
- Participate in holiday general call rotation, 07:00 17:00; no kidney call on holidays
- Perform scrub and circulating duties across assigned surgical specialties
Required Skills
- Proficiency in robotics surgery
- Proficiency in bariatric surgery
- Proficiency in general surgery
- Proficiency in colorectal surgery
- Proficiency in ortho/spine surgery
- Proficiency in vascular surgery
- Proficiency in urology surgery
- Proficiency in gynecology surgery
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years scrub and circulating experience required
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Will accept 4x10 or 3x12 scheduling
- On-call requirements: estimated 8 days per 6-week schedule
- On-call pay: $15.00/call
- Call back rate: 1.3%
- Charge rate: $2.50
- Holiday rate: 1.3%
- Double time: None
- COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
