POSITION SUMMARY
Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation, and according to professional standards, state regulations, and in keeping with the health center mission, vision, and values.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION
Associate, Diploma, or Bachelor Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
None

REQUIRED REGISTRATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Current Kansas or Multi-State Registered Nurse license
Applicable Resuscitation and other position-related certifications must be obtained within the timeframe established by SRHC policy, unless otherwise specified in the position qualifications

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers up to 50 pounds
Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking
Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
Manual dexterity and mobility
Near acuity: ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less
