The Orthopedic Nurse Navigator (ONN) will coordinate and oversee all aspects of patient care by working closely with providers, patients, and families pre-operatively, post-operatively, and post-discharge to ensure that patients receive timely high-quality care. Under the supervision of the Director or clinic manager in collaboration with clinic physicians, mid-level providers, and surgery schedulers, the Orthopedic Nurse Navigator is an advocate, educator, and experienced guide for the surgical patient, as well as family members, through the total joint replacement continuum.
