Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (12-Hour Shifts)
Pay Rate: $45 - $50 / hour DOE

Position Overview

Lincoln Healthcare is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to support a behavioral health and substance use treatment facility in Southaven, Mississippi. This PRN opportunity offers flexible scheduling with both day and night shifts available and provides the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals recovering from addiction and mental health challenges.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical assessment skills and experience working in Detoxification (Detox), Substance Use Disorder (SUD), Behavioral Health, and Mental Health settings. Candidates must be comfortable caring for patients experiencing withdrawal symptoms, psychiatric conditions, and co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing patient evaluations.
• Monitor patients for withdrawal symptoms, changes in mental status, and medical complications.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Assess, document, and communicate patient progress with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Respond appropriately to behavioral health emergencies and crisis situations.
• Provide patient education regarding recovery, medication management, and treatment plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with providers, therapists, case managers, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, accreditation standards, and facility policies.

Qualifications

Required

• Current, active Registered Nurse (Registered Nurse) license in the State of Mississippi.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Detoxification (Detox)
  • Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment
  • Behavioral Health
  • Mental Health
  • Addiction Medicine
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred

• ACLS Certification.
• Experience in inpatient behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, detox, or residential treatment settings.
• Experience managing patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
• Knowledge of withdrawal management protocols and behavioral health best practices.
