About the Role:
Job Summary: Works in conjunction with Value Analysis Teams and Supply Chain to establish work plan, goals and objectives necessary to meet the approved system savings targets. Assists in identification, selection and prioritization of system-wide opportunities as they relate to Value Analysis standardization, utilization and implementation. Facilitate Value Analysis Teams (VAT) to most effectively manage system projects. Integrates accepted practice changes and assures that standards of care are achieved when standardization opportunities are implemented. Meets with vendors and departments to evaluate new and existing products to ensure utilization is optimized. Responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of healthcare products, identification of standardization opportunities while upholding the facilities policies, practices and standards of care ultimately resulting in improved clinical and financial outcomes. Provides support to SCM Specialists during VAT trials and product conversions. Provides support to SCM Buyers for backorder and situations requiring time sensitive product substitution. Carries out all directives issued by Manager of Value Analysis on a consistent basis to properly manage the needs of NGHS and affiliates. Position requires demonstrated analytical experience and strong personal computer, project management, leadership, problem solving and team building skills. Should possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Engages with operators within the clinical departments for visual and physical understanding/confirmation of processes and product use to support standardization and Value Analysis initiatives.
