Registered Pharmacy Technician

Location: Plainfield, Indiana (Onsite)

Shifts Available: 1st shift: 5:45am-4:15pm 9Sun-Wed) or 2nd shift: 4:00pm-2:30am

Role Overview

We are seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to support a central fill pharmacy. This role is essential for maintaining a continuous and consistent workflow to meet daily production and quality goals. The position involves working in a fast-paced, automated environment to ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of pharmacy prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain pharmacy systems and technology, including inventory systems and automated medication counting machines, by preparing records and reports to ensure system compliance.
• Ensure fulfillment of pharmacy prescriptions by using a scanner to select products, verifying medication size and strength, labeling prescriptions, and preparing packages for distribution.
• Maintain and track medication inventory by sorting and storing freight, restocking medication, reporting low stock levels, and performing inventory cycle counts.
• Support the facility with reporting and paperwork by entering and modifying pharmaceutical data, processing documentation, and preparing reports of pharmacy activities.
• Maintain the quality, accuracy, and integrity of inventory by using an automated inventory control scanner, auditing pill cell performance, and processing recalled or expired pharmaceuticals.
• Promote and maintain the pharmacys professional reputation by assisting the pharmacist in the prescription fulfillment process and adhering to all relevant laws and corporate policies.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Must meet state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, including any required registration, certification, and/or licensure by the State Board of Pharmacy. Registration in Indiana is required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Background in Operations or the Retail Industry.
