Registered Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy

Summary:

• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Location: Children’s Hospital Colorado – Anschutz Medical Campus
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Float between Anschutz & Network of Care (North or South) as required.
• Work 13 weekend shifts out of 26.
• Work required Thanksgiving Holiday shifts (11/25, 11/26 & 11/27).
• Adhere to company policies regarding floating or reassignment within clinical competence areas.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary.
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Required Clinical Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years Pediatric ICU.
  • Minimum 3 years Neonatal ICU.
  • Minimum 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma.
• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NRP
• Must have prior travel assignment experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum 4 years Pediatric ICU.
• Minimum 4 years Neonatal ICU.
• Minimum 2 years Pediatric Level 1 Trauma.
