    We have partnered closely with a premier healthcare system in Montana to secure a dedicated clinical specialist for their cardiopulmonary team. We are currently seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care services in Great Falls, Montana.

    Under the general supervision of the Respiratory Care Manager, you will evaluate, treat, and care for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. This role encompasses diagnostic testing, therapeutic administration, continuous monitoring, critical care support, and patient/family education within a supportive environment that features excellent nurse-and-therapist-to-patient ratios.



    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver direct cardiopulmonary care including aerosol therapies, chest physiotherapy, mechanical ventilation setup/management, arterial blood gas sampling/analysis, and diagnostic testing.
    • Conduct patient clinical evaluations, monitor treatment responses, adjust protocols in collaboration with attending physicians, and document clinical outcomes accurately.
    • Respond to emergency situations (code blue, rapid responses, trauma cases) and provide critical respiratory support across all age groups and clinical units.
    • Educate patients and family members regarding disease management, home therapy equipment, and preventative cardiopulmonary health.
    • Adhere strictly to departmental continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives, hospital safety guidelines, and federal/state regulatory standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Associate Degree or higher from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
    • Licensure & Credentials:
    • Active, unrestricted Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the Montana Board of Respiratory Care Practitioners (or immediate eligibility to obtain).
    • Active national credentialing as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
    • Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
    • Knowledge & Skills:
    • Thorough understanding of general respiratory care processes, protocols, and standard/specialized cardiopulmonary equipment.
    • Knowledge of safety, infection control, and continuous quality improvement standards.
    • Strong critical thinking, communication, and team-based clinical collaboration skills.

    Note on Compensation & Hiring Requirements: Final base salary, bonus payout schedules, and financial packages will be verified and determined by the organization based on your documented years of respiratory therapy experience and credentialing. All job offers are strictly contingent upon the successful completion of standard pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check, drug screening, health/immunization verification, and full credentialing.
