Noah’s Ark Veterinary & Boarding Resort is a privately owned small animal veterinary practice located between Baltimore and Annapolis, Maryland. We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician who loves helping animals, enjoys working with people, and wants to be part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Our technicians play an essential role in patient care and hospital flow. They work closely with veterinarians, support clients through their pets’ care, and help create a calm, organized experience for patients and the people who love them. We’re looking for someone who brings sound technical skills, compassion, clear communication, and a team-focused approach to each day.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to patients throughout their visit
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans
- Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery
- Perform and support diagnostic procedures, including laboratory testing and imaging
- Administer treatments and medications as directed by the veterinarian and within the scope of your credential
- Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, treatments, and other medical information accurately
- Communicate with clients about their pets’ care, procedures, and home-care instructions
- Help prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas for appointments and procedures
- Support patient comfort and safety through appropriate handling and restraint
- Maintain clean, organized treatment, surgery, and exam areas
- Communicate proactively with the veterinary team to support efficient patient care
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Registered Veterinary Technician credential
- Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills
- A compassionate, professional approach to patients, clients, and coworkers
- Ability to prioritize and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, reliability, and accountability
- Willingness to collaborate, share knowledge, and continue learning
- Veterinary experience preferred
