Now, we're looking for a Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative and compassionate team! Position SummaryAs a Registered Veterinary Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting our doctors and delivering high-quality medical care. Whether you're assisting in surgery, performing technical skills, or educating pet parents, you'll be an essential part of our hospital's daily operations. Responsibilities and Benefits Registered Veterinary Technician Responsibilties: - Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms - Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals - Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members - Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring - Proficient in dental prophylaxis Registered Veterinary Technician Qualifications: - Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state. (SVP will pay for a transfer / additional state licensing for DC if applicable). - Associates degree in Veterinary Technology - Pay range of $28-$35+/hour - $2000 Sign-On Bonus
