Description

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for an Entry-Level Registration Specialist. This role focuses on registering clients, patients, or customers, verifying personal and insurance information, maintaining accurate records, processing documentation, and providing excellent front-line administrative support in an on-site environment.

The Registration Specialist will work closely with administrative teams, department managers, internal staff, and customers to complete registrations, verify documentation, update databases, maintain confidential records, and ensure accurate and efficient registration processes.

Responsibilities

  • Register new clients, patients, or customers accurately
  • Verify personal, demographic, and insurance information
  • Maintain and update electronic registration records
  • Process registration forms and supporting documentation
  • Answer questions regarding registration procedures
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate registration activities
  • Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with document collection and record verification
  • Resolve registration discrepancies when identified
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support daily operations
  • Prepare registration reports and administrative documentation
  • Perform additional registration and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 0–2 years of experience in administration, customer service, registration, front desk, office support, or related roles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic database systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
