Regulatory & Economic Resources Planning Development Manager

Minimum Qualifications

Masters degree in Urban Planning, Regional Planning, or planning related field and five years of current planning or area planning and zoning experience; or Bachelors degree in Urban Planning, Regional Planning or planning related field and seven years of current planning or area planning and zoning experience is required.

Recruitment Notes

This position manages and coordinates complex planning, zoning, and development review functions, including Administrative Site Plan Review and zoning hearing matters. Incumbents in this role provide technical and operational guidance to staff; review applications, plans, and supporting documents for compliance with County codes and development standards. Additionally, this role coordinates with applicants, consultants, departments, agencies, and the public; supports digital review and application-tracking processes; resolves technical issues; and ensures accurate, consistent, and timely processing of development applications.
