GENERAL SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), the Rehabilitation Technician assists with patient care activities and therapeutic programs as prescribed. The Rehabilitation Technician prepares patients and equipment for treatment sessions, assists with therapeutic exercises and activities, maintains treatment areas and equipment, and performs administrative support duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under the direct supervision of a therapist, assist patients with established therapeutic exercise programs and activities.
• Prepare patients and treatment areas by positioning patients and assembling necessary equipment and supplies.
• Apply basic therapeutic modalities to established patients as directed by the supervising therapist and in accordance with clinic policies and procedures.
• Observe patients during treatment and promptly report changes in condition, reactions, or responses to the supervising therapist.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and therapy areas in accordance with infection control standards.
• Stock linens, supplies, and treatment materials; monitor inventory levels and notify appropriate personnel when replenishment is needed.
• Assist with administrative and office support tasks, including patient flow, scheduling support, filing, and other duties as assigned.
• Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Current CPR/BLS certification via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Preferred:

• Experience working in a medical facility with patient contact

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role may require lifting up to 50 lbs.

The work location for this role is onsite

PAY RANGE

$15.00-$19.50 hourly
