ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a dual-focus Relationship Manager opportunity at a well-established financial institution, covering both retail banking client development and corporate banking origination including CRE and C&I lending across Texas and the broader southern region. The role offers end-to-end ownership across new business development, loan underwriting support, credit monitoring, and portfolio management within a defined geographic territory. It's an ideal fit for a bilingual banking professional with CRE underwriting or relationship management experience who is comfortable operating across both consumer and commercial client segments and thrives in a market-facing, growth-oriented environment. Mandarin is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop new consumer and corporate client relationships across Texas and the southern region;manage and grow an existing book of retail and commercial banking clients
  • Process account opening procedures for both consumer and corporate customers in accordance with bank policies and procedures
  • Assist Account Officers in reviewing and analyzing loan applications to ensure alignment with lending guidelines;review loan documents and perform underwriting processes for CRE and C&I transactions
  • Support all loan approval-related work including input and approval processing through relevant internal systems
  • Perform ongoing credit monitoring and loan portfolio management;conduct loan reviews with Account Officer support
  • Ensure full compliance with bank credit, compliance, and operational policies and procedures across all client-facing and internal activities
  • Proactively identify, measure, monitor, and report risk exposures to senior management as part of first-line risk ownership responsibilities
  • Travel moderately within the region to visit prospective and existing clients as needed
