Release Train Engineer (RTE)

Location: Seattle, WA/ Plano TX/ Addison TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

This role is a potential contract to hire and will require resources that do not require sponsorship now or in the future.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) who will own and manage a component of a portfolio of technology-driven initiatives. This role is responsible for the creation and development of technology solutions appropriate to business needs and objectives. You will work with partners to develop and drive technology solutions and business case development across functional groups or within a business domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the client area and internal IT management.
• Provide technical leadership as a proactive and strategic business partner.
• Oversee the implementation of programs, projects, or processes.
• Coordinate the translation of business strategy into work programs and processes.
• Manage a component of a client or business areas information technology-related activities.
• Direct lower-level managers, team leaders, or a specialty function.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience as a business analyst or project manager.
• Strong background in a disciplined software development life cycle (SDLC) process.
• Experience working on a team with the Agile Methodology.
• Extensive experience working in an Agile Scrum Master environment, including sprint planning, burndown and velocity reporting, backlog prioritization, and retrospectives.
• Experience gathering information for Business Requirements Documents, wireframes, epic and story writing, flow diagrams, data mapping, test plans, use cases, and scenarios.
• Understanding of financial or banking processes and domain.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with JIRA, Rally, or similar Agile project management software.
• Experience with Wiki and SharePoint tools.
• Experience in design principles and design patterns.
