Job Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Reliability Engineer to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and performance at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The engineer will investigate recurring equipment failures, implement reliability improvements, and strengthen preventive maintenance strategies within a cGMP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify recurring equipment failures and analyze downtime to prioritize reliability improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment performance.
• Support troubleshooting and reliability improvements for automated vial filling lines, isolators, and aseptic processing systems.
• Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify equipment risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Develop and optimize preventive maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment availability and manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop, revise, and maintain SOPs, troubleshooting procedures, and technical documentation.
• Ensure activities comply with cGMP requirements and site procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience improving equipment reliability in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with automated vial filling equipment, isolators, and aseptic processing systems.
• Experience with EMA and/or Optima filling lines.
• Strong equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, FMEA, and preventive maintenance skills.
• Ability to implement practical improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with autoclaves and associated aseptic manufacturing support systems.
• Experience using equipment performance and downtime data to drive continuous improvement.
