We are looking for a new Veterinary Assistant for Mid-Columbia Pet Emergency Service!QualificationsIf you are an experienced Veterinary Assistant looking for the next step in your career we want to meet you. - High school diploma
- 1+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry, Emergency experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriate
- Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations
Work Schedule:
- Overnight shift- 6pm-6am, Day Shifts 6am-6pm, OR Swing Shifts 1pm to 1am are available.
Compensation:
- The pay range for this position is $18-22 per hour
- Night shift differential: Additional $3.50/hr Night shift premium differential for any hours worked from 6pm to 6am.
