Key Responsibilities:
- Manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, with a strong emphasis on investment companies, venture capital, and private equity funds.
- Lead client communications, ensuring clear expectations, quality delivery, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, contributing to a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients while identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in good standing – Required.
- Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience, with a strong background in audit.
- Demonstrated experience auditing investment firms, including PE and VC funds – Required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Big 4, national, or large regional accounting firm.
- Familiarity with audits for middle-market, technology, government, and/or nonprofit clients.
