Completing a reservation is only one part of providing excellent vacation service. Clients still need reminders, updated information, organized documents, and someone making sure important details have not been overlooked before departure.
The Remote Client Care Specialist focuses on what happens after a client reserves a vacation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys checklists, timelines, documentation, and helping people feel prepared.
The goal is simple: when the client leaves home, they should know where they are going, what they need, and what to expect.
What the Role Involves
You may begin by reviewing a reservation file for missing information, approaching deadlines, passport concerns, transportation details, or schedule changes. You will then create a communication timeline based on the type of vacation and departure date.
Cruise clients may need online check-in reminders, port information, and documentation guidance. International travelers may need passport and entry-requirement reminders. Resort clients may need transfer instructions, app information, or details about dining and activities.
