A fast-growing General Contractor based in Denver is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a young, entrepreneurial company that has built a strong reputation for delivering quality projects and exceptional client service.

The company operates with a fully remote workforce, offering flexibility and autonomy while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented culture. Due to continued growth, ownership is looking for an estimator who can immediately step in, take ownership of the estimating process, and contribute from day one with minimal oversight or training.

Position Overview

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects while working closely with ownership throughout the preconstruction process. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong General Contractor experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage multiple estimates from concept through bid submission.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed conceptual, budgetary, and hard bid estimates
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze project plans and specifications
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
• Develop comprehensive bid packages and scopes of work
• Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Previous experience working for a General Contractor is required
• Proven ability to independently prepare complete project estimates
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and pricing
• Experience reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Proficiency with estimating software, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and construction management platforms
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
