The Remote Destination Support Advisor helps clients explore and organize vacation options based on their individual needs. This position combines customer service, online research, organization, and attention to detail. Advisors assist clients in navigating the many choices involved in planning a vacation while providing reliable and professional support.
Training is available for individuals who are new to the industry. You will receive guidance on destinations, accommodations, cruises, planning procedures, reservation systems, client communication, and professional development.
Responsibilities
Consult with clients regarding preferred destinations, travel dates, activities, and overall expectations.
Research destination options that match the client's interests and requested budget.
Compare accommodations, vacation packages, cruises, excursions, and transportation services.
Explain general features, amenities, policies, and available options in a clear manner.
Prepare personalized recommendations for client review.
Assist clients with reservation steps and verify that names and dates are entered correctly.
Organize confirmation information and provide important preparation reminders.
Monitor payment deadlines, documentation needs, and reservation updates.
Maintain communication with clients throughout the planning process.
Provide professional assistance when questions or changes arise.
Continue learning about destinations, suppliers, and planning resources.
Develop relationships that support repeat clients and personal referrals.
Requirements
Minimum age of 18.
Current residence in the United States or Mexico.
Reliable internet access and a computer or compatible device.
Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize follow-up.
Comfortable conducting online research and learning new technology.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Willing to complete training and participate in ongoing educational opportunities.
Professional demeanor and respect for client privacy.
Previous customer service, administrative, hospitality, or planning experience is helpful but not mandatory.
This flexible remote opportunity may be pursued on a part-time or full-time basis. Success requires initiative, consistent follow-up, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in creating positive experiences for clients.
