Outside Sales Representative, Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (Remote)

Are you a hunter who knows construction and loves closing deals? An established, growing manufacturer of pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) systems is adding an Outside Sales Representative to its team. This is a remote, territory-based role where you'll own the full sales cycle, from first contact through project delivery, selling custom steel building solutions to commercial and industrial buyers.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and win new commercial and industrial clients in your territory.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of PEMB projects.
• Meet with owners, contractors, architects, and engineers to understand their project needs and recommend tailored building solutions.
• Prepare competitive, profitable pricing proposals from project specs.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Coordinate with engineering and production for a smooth handoff from sale to delivery.
• Stay the client's go-to contact through construction, and provide post-sale support.

What You Bring

• 3 to 5 years in outside sales, territory sales, account management, or as an account executive.
• Experience selling construction products, structural steel, PEMB systems, or other industrial products is strongly preferred.
• A consultative, relationship-driven sales style with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field.
• Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to clients.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with architects, engineers, and construction teams.
• A technical understanding of metal building systems or structural steel.
• Experience with Excel, MBS (Metal Building Software), AutoCAD, or Bluebeam.
