Remote Recruiter
LHH Recruiting is seeking a highly resourceful and adaptable Remote Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting across a diverse range of business functions for our client on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a recruiter who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their searches, and knows how to proactively identify and engage high-quality talent.
Success will be driven by the quality of talent identified, strong hiring manager partnerships, proactive pipeline development, and the ability to independently move searches forward. The ideal candidate brings the urgency, creativity, and accountability while understanding how to build trusted partnerships within an internal corporate recruiting environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from intake through offer for exempt and non-exempt positions.
- Recruit across a broad mix of functions, including sales, marketing, product, accounting, finance, customer-facing roles, and other business areas.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, define candidate profiles, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Proactively source passive and active candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels.
- Build qualified talent pipelines from scratch rather than relying solely on inbound applicants.
- Quickly pivot between different positions, departments, and candidate profiles based on changing business priorities.
- Conduct candidate screening and evaluate candidates against position requirements.
- Manage candidate movement, interview coordination, communication, documentation, and follow-up throughout the recruiting process.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition information within the ATS.
- Provide a professional, responsive, and consistent candidate experience.
- Help hiring managers maintain momentum and alignment throughout the interview and selection process.
- Leverage AI and emerging recruiting technologies to improve sourcing, research, candidate identification, workflow efficiency, and overall recruiting effectiveness.
- Continuously identify ways to improve recruiting processes, tools, and outcomes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting across multiple business functions rather than specializing exclusively in one area.
- Experience recruiting positions within areas such as sales, marketing, product, finance/accounting, operations, or customer-facing functions.
- Strong proactive sourcing experience with the ability to build candidate pipelines from the ground up.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or comparable sourcing tools.
- Ability to independently manage multiple searches and competing priorities.
- Strong hiring manager partnership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in an environment where priorities may shift and recruiters are expected to operate with a high degree of independence.
- Strong attention to recruiting operations, candidate documentation, workflow management, and ATS accuracy.
- Curious, resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable learning new technologies and recruiting processes.
- Experience using or a demonstrated willingness to leverage AI tools within recruiting workflows.
Strongly Preferred
- Experience with Greenhouse ATS.
- Previous internal/corporate recruiting experience.
- Combination of agency and in-house recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting both exempt and non-exempt positions.
- Hands-on experience using AI for recruiting activities such as sourcing, talent research, candidate identification, market research, or workflow optimization.
- Experience supporting a wide variety of functional areas and rapidly transitioning between different types of searches.
