Remote Seasonal Customer Service Agent

Position Overview:

 

 As a Contact Center Crew Member at Duluth Trading Company, you will be the front-line voice representing our Duluth brand to customers. Your mission: deliver exceptional service with every interaction. Be the go-to resource for product inquiries, creatively solve customer issues, and navigate our website seamlessly. This seasonal position requires a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week and at least 4 hours per shift, with availability for additional hours during high-volume peak weeks. Set shifts fall within two primary operational windows: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM and  12:00 PM – 7:00 PM Central Standard Time.

 

️We are currently hiring in Belleville, WI: This is a remote position, offering the convenience of working from home. However, new-hire paperwork, onboarding, and equipment pickup must be completed in person at our Belleville warehouse, located at 170 Countryside Dr., Belleville, WI 53508.

Training:

 

Training time for this position is very important as it creates the foundation to provide world-class customer service to Duluth Trading Company customers. Position training takes place during the first two weeks after your start date. All new hires are required to complete 25 hours of training each week for the first two weeks to ensure successful completion of the training program. Mandatory live class on the first day of training. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

 

Customer Service Excellence:

• Promptly answer incoming calls, delivering world-class service that exceeds customer expectations.
• Expertly manage inquiries regarding products, pricing, promotions, and other concerns with precision and enthusiasm, while seamlessly assisting customers in placing orders over the phone.
• Effectively communicate sales and promotions.
• Strong teamwork, organization, and multitasking skills.

Problem Solving and Expertise:

• Provide innovative solutions for issues like defective items, lost orders, and refunds.
• Develop expertise in navigating the Duluth Trading website to assist customers.
• Track shipments and process price adjustments and shipping credits.

Knowledge and Accuracy:

• Maintain solid knowledge of our product line, pricing, and policies.
• Capture and maintain accurate customer information.

Performance and Compliance:

• Proactively resolve customer concerns within empowered boundaries.
• Meet and exceed Key Performance metrics.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in training programs aimed at skill enhancement, encompassing individual and group coaching, role-playing exercises, and skills training.
• Perform special assignments as directed.

What We’re Looking For: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent (relevant work experience also considered).
• Previous inbound call center or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills for professional phone interactions.
• Knowledge of Duluth Trading Company products.
• Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
• Computer proficiency, including web navigation and system toggling.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Successful completion of all required training programs is essential to maintain the role and ensure continued professional growth and development.

Compensation: $15.75/ Hour

 

Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
