With our headquarters in Boston, MA we are rapidly growing and expanding ourteamwhich currently has over 800 employeeslocatedin 14 different countries!The Senior Accountant positionis responsible fordriving operational efficiency in financial reporting and compliance using best practices and automation with ERP/enterprise accounting toolWhat will you do?Own and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuringtimelyandaccuratereportingPrepare and review journal entries, including accruals, amortization,equity‑relatedentries, and intercompany activityPrepareGAAP‑compliantfinancial statements and supporting schedulesMaintain complete documentation and support for all accounting entries and balance sheet accountsPrepare, review, andmaintainbalance sheet reconciliations,identifyingand resolving discrepanciesReview and approve accounts payable expense coding to ensureaccurateGL classification, cost center allocation, andtimelymonth‑endcloseManage andmaintainthe fixed asset ledger, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposalsReconcile intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminationsSupport revenue and deferred revenue accounting, including collaboration with billing and revenue systems (as applicable)Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with GAAP and company growthAssistwith external audits, internal audits, and regulatory or compliance requestsDrive andparticipatein process improvement initiatives, including system optimization and automationPrepare and circulate internal management reportsRespond to and resolve routine accounting inquiries from internal stakeholdersExercise a high degree of integrity, judgment, and confidentiality in all financial reportingPerform other duties as needed to support the Finance organization and scaling business needsWhatdoyou bring to the table?Minimum 5 years of progressive general accounting experience, preferably in a software, SaaS, ortechnology‑enabledenvironmentStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP andmonth‑endclose best practicesHands‑onexperience withcloud‑basedERP systems such as NetSuite (preferred), Sage Intacct, or similarAdvancedproficiencywith Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large data setsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting concepts tonon‑financepartnersHighly organized,detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyProven ability to meet deadlines in afast‑movingenvironmentProactive, adaptable, and open to change and continuous learningOurcorevaluesPeople first.
