Remote TPO Account Manager- Wholesale Processor

Position: TPO Account Manager
Compensation: $75,000–$80,000 per year, plus per file bonus

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced TPO Account Manager to support its third-party origination channel. This is an operations-focused position that functions similarly to a loan processor within the TPO channel. It is not a sales role.

The ideal candidate will have several years of TPO or wholesale mortgage experience, strong customer-service skills, and direct experience supporting FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-QM loans.

Responsibilities

• Support FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-QM loan files throughout the loan process

• Serve as a primary point of contact for mortgage brokers and third-party originators

• Review loan files and follow up on missing documentation or outstanding conditions

• Provide timely and accurate loan-status updates

• Coordinate with processing, underwriting, closing, and other internal departments

• Monitor the loan pipeline and help keep files moving

• Identify and help resolve issues that could delay the loan process

• Maintain accurate file notes and status information

• Provide responsive, professional service to brokers and internal partners

• Manage multiple active loan files and competing deadlines

Qualifications

• Direct experience acting as an Internal Wholesale processor handling FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-QM loans required

• 3 recent years of experience working as a Wholesale Account Manager or TPO Processor is required 

• Strong understanding of the mortgage loan process

• Experience managing an active loan pipeline

• Strong broker-support and customer-service skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through

• Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a fast-paced environment
