    Job Description

    West Side Beer Distributing is hiring for a Full-Time Repack Clerk in Lansing
    Join our warehouse team and help keep operations running smoothly by restoring damaged products back into sellable inventory. If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and looking for a steady part-time role, this position is a great fit.

    Location: Lansing, MI
    Schedule:Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm
    Compensation: Starting at $18.50 per hour
    Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    About the Role
    In this part-time role, you’ll help process damaged product by sorting, repacking, and preparing items to return to sellable inventory. You'll also handle recycling tasks, operate basic warehouse equipment, and maintain accurate repack records. This position requires attention to safety, organization, and following established procedures to keep the repack area running smoothly. 

    What You’ll Do
    • Sort and repack damaged products to return them to sellable inventory
    • Transfer cardboard, bottles, and other materials for recycling
    • Safely operate balers and related recycling equipment
    • Use manual pallet jacks to move products and materials
    • Rotate product following code dates and supplier/company guidelines
    • Maintain accurate daily repack and breakage records
    • Keep work areas clean and clear of debris or broken glass
    • Report accidents or incidents and follow all safety procedures
    • Follow all supervisor instructions, company policies, and OSHA safety rules
    What You’ll Need
    • High school diploma or GED (required)
    • No experience required — we provide full training
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to work safely
    • Reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude
    Physical Requirements
    • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
    • Repetitive movements for sorting, packing, and moving materials
    • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
    • Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
