    This engineer authors and maintains the backbone of Ford Energy's quality V-Model: the system and component-level technical requirements and their corresponding validation test methods. Well-written, verifiable requirements paired with rigorous test methods are the foundation that allows Failure Mode Avoidance, certification, and Factory Acceptance Testing to function as an integrated system rather than disconnected activities. This role demands precision, systems thinking, and close collaboration with nearly every other engineering discipline in the organization.

    • Requirements Authoring
    • Write clear, unambiguous, verifiable, and testable engineering requirements at the system, subsystem, and component levels.
    • Ensure requirements follow proper structure (shall-statements, single-thought, measurable acceptance criteria) consistent with systems engineering best practice.
    • Decompose top-level customer and regulatory requirements into detailed technical requirements allocated to specific subsystems/components.
