Rescue Technician - Duty Crew

This application is for paid certified firefighters. Volunteer candidates should apply to the Volunteer Firefighter role.

 

Community Volunteer Fire Department is a response department that provides fire suppression, emergency medical services, and technical rescue response to an estimated population of 150,000 people within a geographic area of approximately 25 square miles. We are recruiting men and women who are dedicated to helping their fellow citizens.

 

Must be at least 21 years old

Must have current full-time employment with a career fire department

Must hold a minimum TCFP Basic Firefighter Certification

Must hold a minimum Texas EMT Basic Certification

Must be able to submit at least 8 days of availability per month 12-Hour shifts on weekdays and weekends with additional opportunities available.

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Complete In-Person Interview

Pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Attended TRO class

Complete orientation after TRO completion.

Assignment to Rescue Team.
