Research Associate (Biologics Formulation & Process Development)

Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a “Research Associate (Biologics Formulation & Process Development)” based in Foster City, CA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility of Extension)

Pay Rate: $39.85/hr on W2

Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick leave(as per state policy)

Support formulation and drug product process development for biologic molecules intended for toxicology studies and early-stage clinical trials, including First-in-Human (FIH) studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute laboratory experiments supporting biologic formulation, drug product manufacturing processes, molecular assessment, and clinical in-use evaluations.
  
• Operate analytical instruments such as HPLC, UV-Vis, CE-SDS, and icIEF.
  
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, identify inconsistencies, and communicate findings.
  
• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, protocols, reports, and other scientific documentation.
  
• Present experimental results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  
• Follow laboratory safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement and scientific innovation.
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with 0+ years of experience; OR
  
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2+ years of industrial experience in biologics CMC development.
