Job Overview

As an Operations Technologist, you will be responsible for setting up, sanitizing, and running equipment autonomously for trials. You will provide support across various platforms with a primary focus on the Cereal platform. This is a flex position, allowing you to build a wide range of capabilities for future development.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Flexibility is required as business needs may dictate shift changes and potential weekend work.

Key Accountabilities

• Operate equipment safely, adhering to food safety requirements and performing risk assessments.
• Lead projects to identify and resolve safety risks.
• Maintain and master skills on multiple unit operations/systems.
• Lead equipment sanitation activities and inspect post-sanitation.
• Focus on Maintenance/Electrical/Controls with a technical emphasis.
• Lift, manipulate, and transport ingredients or equipment up to 55 lbs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Experience working in teams to deliver results.
• Basic computer/technology skills (Office Suite, other programs).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of food and human safety protocols.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferences

• 1 year of previous work experience in a similar field.
• Foodservice & Laboratory experience.
• Passion for food creation, industry trends, and consumer insights.

Physical/Other Requirements

• Wear protective clothing and equipment as needed.
• Work in varying temperature conditions and around hazardous compounds.
• Perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, and climbing.
• Willingness to work around high-speed machinery and adhere to safety standards.
