Role: Research Operations Manager
Rate: $34/hour W2
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Location: Philadelphia, PA

We are seeking a highly organized and technically minded Research Operations & Compliance Analyst to support a Market Research and Consumer Insights organization. This role will be responsible for managing operational processes, vendor compliance activities, budget-related reporting, and workflow optimization across multiple research initiatives.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who combines strong operational, compliance, and financial support experience with the ability to build solutions, automate workflows, and improve business processes using tools such as Smartsheet. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with research teams, vendors, procurement, finance, cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance stakeholders while driving efficiencies through automation and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support operational processes for Market Research and Consumer Insights initiatives.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance Smartsheet solutions, dashboards, workflows, forms, reports, and automated processes.
  • Identify manual processes and implement scalable workflow improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Manage vendor onboarding, compliance reviews, approval tracking, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Privacy, Cybersecurity, AI Governance, Legal, and Finance teams to facilitate vendor approvals and operational processes.
  • Support budget tracking, spend reporting, invoice reporting, and financial reconciliation activities.
  • Maintain project trackers, reporting dashboards, workflows, and compliance documentation.
  • Analyze operational data and generate insights for leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of research-related operational records and reporting.
  • Support implementation of new tools, vendors, and research platforms.
  • Document and improve business processes, operational procedures, and workflow standards.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Market Research, Consumer Insights, Research Operations, Business Operations, Compliance Operations, Vendor Operations, or similar functions.
  • Advanced experience with Smartsheet, including building dashboards, workflows, automations, forms, reports, and operational solutions.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements and workflow automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting compliance, vendor management, procurement, finance, or operational processes.
  • Strong reporting and data management experience using Excel and related business tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Market Research, Consumer Insights, Research Operations, UX Research Operations, or Survey Operations teams.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • Experience supporting vendor onboarding and compliance programs.
  • Experience with budget tracking, financial reporting, invoice reporting, or Accounts Payable processes.
  • Experience working with research vendors, agencies, survey platforms, software vendors, or data providers.
  • Telecommunications industry experience.
