Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, variable hours between 8:00am to 4:30pm

Salary: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour Non Exempt

• Expert scientific knowledge and skill.
• Independent judgement, discretion, initiative and decision making.
• Works with minimal collaboration with Principal Investigator.
• Responsible for the work of a laboratory or research project(s).
• Writes articles for publication in scientific journals or for presentations at conferences.
• Independently performs research activities in a research laboratory and/or on research projects.
• Develops or executes Standard Operating Procedures for large research endeavors.
• Manages research staff daily to ensure high quality work.
• Interfaces with referral sources to maintain participant flow.
• Monitors adherence to the protocol and identifies deviations.
• Reports study activities to the Principal Investigator (PI), DSMB, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) as needed.
• Assures high standards in data management, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.
• Complies with safety and security policies and procedures
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions
• Works well with others

May perform additional duties as required

Requirements

GRADUATE or POST GRADUATE DEGREE, AND Preferred- Doctoral degree (PhD or MD) in related field and at least 2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
