Residential Assistant Superintendent - Fire Sprinkler

Position Summary

We seek a hands-on Assistant Superintendent to support on-site residential fire sprinkler installation. You will help manage field operations, coordinate piping crews, and ensure all wet and dry fire protection systems are installed safely, efficiently, and up to code.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of residential fire sprinkler piping, valves, and heads.
• Coordinate daily field work alongside the Lead Superintendent and subcontractors.
• Ensure code compliance with NFPA standards and local building regulations.
• Conduct quality control checks and pressure tests on installed systems.
• Enforce OSHA safety rules and maintain a clean, hazard-free job site.
• Track daily progress and manage on-site material staging.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in fire protection construction or residential plumbing.
• Skills: Blueprint reading, knowledge of NFPA 13/13D/13R guidelines.
• Certifications: NICET Level II or OSHA-10/30 is a plus.
• Attributes: Strong communication and problem-solving skills
