About the Role

As a Residential Construction Superintendent, you'll help keep daily site activities organized, coordinate with project managers and trade partners, and maintain close attention to workmanship. This position combines site supervision with hands-on construction work. You should be comfortable taking responsibility for field coordination while stepping in on the tools when needed.

Experienced lead carpenters who have the skills and experience to take on broader site coordination responsibilities are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities at assigned residential construction sites.
• Work with project managers to understand priorities and upcoming work.
• Communicate with trade partners about site readiness and work sequencing.
• Review workmanship and bring quality concerns forward promptly.
• Identify field challenges and help develop practical solutions.
• Perform hands-on construction and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Keep project managers informed about progress, obstacles, and required decisions.
• Help maintain orderly sites and reinforce safe working practices.
• Follow through on outstanding work and details as projects move toward completion.

Required Qualifications 

• Practical construction and carpentry skills.
• Willingness and ability to perform hands-on construction work.
• Ability to organize daily site activities and coordinate with trade partners.
• Strong attention to construction quality and detail.
• Clear communication and dependable follow-through.
• Ability to identify field issues and communicate appropriate next steps.
• Ability to work at active residential construction sites.

Additional Experience Considered

Experienced lead carpenters who are prepared to take on superintendent responsibilities are welcome to apply. Previous superintendent experience is beneficial but is not required for candidates who demonstrate strong residential construction skills and the ability to coordinate site activities.

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 employee.
• Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on relevant experience and qualifications. 
• Company vehicle.
• Health insurance.
• 401(k) with company match: 100% match on your first 3% in contributions, plus 50% on the next 2%--a total company match of up to 4% of your salary.
• Paid time off: At least two weeks to start, with additional time based on experience.
• Company phone and laptop.

*This position involves hands-on work at active residential construction sites and travel to assigned local projects.
