Now Hiring: Residential Program Manager – IDD / Human Services Required
Location: Washington County, MD
Pay: Starting at $50,000/year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, core hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation
Position Type: Full-Time This Is Not a General Management Role This position requires direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and prior leadership experience in a human services setting. If your background is not in IDD or human services, this role will not be a match. What You’ll Do: - Oversee operations of 4–6 residential homes
- Supervise, coach, and support a team of 30–40 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture
- Ensure individuals receive quality, person-centered care in the home and community
- Communicate with families, guardians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Monitor documentation, compliance, and program performance
Requirements: - Required: Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s in Human Services preferred
- Required: 1+ year of direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Required: 1+ year of supervisory or management experience in an IDD or human services setting
- Preferred: Experience mentoring, coaching, or developing staff
- 21+ years old
- Valid U.S. driver’s license held for at least 2 years with a good driving record (not including permit time)
- Ability to lift/transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must pass a reading and math assessment and meet all pre-employment requirements, including a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
