A Resort Host’s main focus is ensuring the guest has a wonderful Loon experience. Hosts provide information on events, activities, snow conditions and assist with skis, equipment, solve problems, and are visible and helpful in the beginner and intermediate trail areas, etc. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employees' job is to get and keep guests.
Responsibilities:Other duties may be assigned by the Resort Host Manager/Coordinator. The appointed times may vary due to the level of business of the day. For example, if the turnaround is busy at 4 PM, Resort Hosts should stay to cover the area until it clears out. Resort Hosts will complete a commitment for days that they will work. There will be a certain number of holidays and weekends that will be required.
Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
