Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $69.33 $73.33 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 Hours University campus: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM; Nashoba, Marlborough, and Memorial campuses: 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
• Travel Requirements: Will float between 4 campuses; primary shift expected at Nashoba at least 2 shifts/week. Distance between Nashoba and University/Memorial is approximately 45 minutes; Marlborough is in between. First-time travelers accepted if they have the required experience.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position based primarily at the Nashoba campus, a freestanding ER where the RRT will work primarily independently. The role may require floating to one of three other campuses with advanced notice. This position is only accepting candidates who can meet the posted start date earlier start dates will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Work primarily independently as an RRT at the Nashoba freestanding ER location
• Float between up to 4 campuses as required, with primary shift at Nashoba at least 2 shifts/week
• Provide Adult Critical Care and Pediatric respiratory support
• Care for pediatric tracheostomy (trach) patients
• Apply Level I experience in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Utilize Epic for clinical charting

Education Requirements

• MA RRT license required (substitutions allowed if applied for within 24 hours of offer)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NRP certification preferred

Required Experience

• 2 3 years of experience required
• Must have Adult Critical Care experience
• Must have Pediatric experience
• Must have experience caring for pediatric tracheostomy (trach) patients
• Level I experience required

Required Skills

• Ability to work independently in a freestanding ER setting
• Proficiency in Epic charting system
• Ability to float between multiple campuses
• Availability for weekend and holiday rotation (EOW/EOH schedule)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Multi-campus float assignment: Nashoba (primary Groton, MA), Marlborough, University (Worcester, MA), and Memorial (Worcester, MA)
• Night shift, 3x12 schedule
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend / every other holiday (EOW/EOH)
• Flu vaccine required (Medical/Religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccine: Not required

• This position is only accepting start dates for the posted start time. Earlier start times will not be considered.

1. Do you have experience caring for pediatric trachs? If so, where? 2. Do you have prior Level I experience? If so, where? 3. Do you have prior adult critical care & pediatric experience?

• MA RRT license is required. Substitutions will be allowed as long as the license is applied for within 24 hours of offer.
